Abstract

The baobab tree (Adansonia digitata) is found growing over a large proportion of the Africa continent, and is a characteristic feature of the landscape of much of this Territory. The fruit of the baobab varies somewhat in shape but is usually oblong, or marrow' shaped, and up to a foot in length and about four inches in diameter.
