In answer to this, two officers from Kenya Soil Survey embarked on the investigation of the soils in August, 2001 over a period of three days. The soil survey was executed from 16th-21 st August, 1993 by the author and Messrs: H.N. Onyono and CN. Kariuki. The farm comprises of approximately 51 / 2 hectares.
