Corporation staff are invited to send in their comments on the results of the standard, variety trials summarized below and to suggest alternative interpretations of the data. The attention of staff is particularly drawn to 'the proposal made by Professor Bunting at the Summer Meeting: that stations should pool all available information on factors determining yields and this should be checked by a programme of physiological observations.
