Comparison of Data from Four Soil Laboratories on Three Haplustox/ Rhodic Ferralsol Profiles of the Kindaruma Area - Kenya.

Abstract

To be able to compare the laboratory methods of NAL-KSS in Nairobi with some well-known soils laboratories elsewhere. Samples of three similar Ferralsol profiles in and around the Kindaruma area were analyzed at either: (a) The national soils laboratory of Brasil. With its abundance of Ferralitic soils (IQA-Rio de Janeiro - request of KSS) (b) The soils laboratory of the University of Hawaii - USAID Benchmark soils Project (their request). (c) The soils laboratory of the IITA in Ibadan. Nigeria (their request)
