dc.description.abstractThe digestibility of the crude-protein equivalent (N >< 6•25) of rations containing urea conforms with the general equation, y = 70 log x - 15, correlating the dry-matter crude-protein content (x) with its coefficient of digestibility (y), irrespective of whether the urea nitrogen is absorbed as ammonium salts or converted to microbial protein prior to digestion.en
