Abstract

Tsetse flies (Glossina morsitans morsitans) were exposed periodically 10 a slowly moving vertical back stripe in a controlled environment chamber (Brady, 1971). Response to this visual stimulus was by take-off and flight, preferentially orientated towards the stripe.
