Abstract
Since the research of Nassonov (1892-93) very little has been added to our knowledge of the biology of Strepsiptera. Moreover, Nassonov's work dealt with species parasitizing Hymenoptera and, on account of the habits of their hosts, exact studies on such species are naturally attended with the greatest difficulty.
