Abstract

The Citrus bud mite, Aceria sheldon (Ewing), a major pest of citrus, was recently recognized in Kenya, and is now known to be widespread. It is responsible for the poor growth made by much of the citrus here. The acaricide chlorobenzilate shows promise of being an effective control.
