Abstract
A request was made for this survey by Dr. Marianne Banziger (Director - Global Maize Program, (CIMMYT) through the Director KARI (Dr. Ephraim Mukisira) on 28th November 2006. The purpose of the survey was to test for soil uniformity in terms of texture and depth to assist in deciding the right areas for land expansion.
