dc.description.abstractForty-eight Large White X Landrace pigs intially weighing about 14 kg were used to compare the effect of different levels of palm oil and energy on the performance and carcass characteristics of pigs grown from 14 to 55 kg live weight. Comparisons were between diets containing 0.0, 2.0, 4.0, 6.0, 8.0 and 10.0 per cent palm oil and 4006, 4169, 4320, 4436, 4623 and 4726 Kcals digestible energy /kg diet respectively.en
