Sustainable Land Management - Impact Monitoring Orientation/Training Workshop (GTZ) 2000

Abstract

KARl and the EU/KARI Coordination Unit wish to thank Dr. Kurt Steiner for the willingness to carry out this workshop with support from his own project funds for his time and air fare. The scientists working under ARSP II attending this workshop as well as their colleagues from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the participants from development projects greatly benefitted from this orientation/training workshop, which was conducted in a participatory and interactive way, contributing to the motivation of participants. The workshop participants also benefitted from the training material provided (Impact Monitoring Guidelines in the field of Sustainable Land Management, Volumes 1 and 2), which was developed by an international working group headed by GTZ and SDC/CDE) and the World Bank
