Abstract

In the three latter zones, which lie mainly within the altitudes of 2,800-7,000 ft., improvement of pasture and fodder production are essential prerequisites to the economic development of a profitable livestock industry and export trade in animal products. However, each zone requires a different approach, dependent on the natural and socio-economic conditions.
