dc.description.abstractfhe primary structure (Fig. 2) consists of a fraRle of aluminium profiles of 38 x 38 x 38 cm dimensions and weighs less than 3 kg. Electrical power is provided by 10 Ni Cd batteries (SAFr, Vo 7 s) supporting a regulated 12 V bus to the satellite and to the payload. The batteries are sandwiched between two 5 mm thick aluminium plates to assure high thermal capacity of the battery block and low thermal gradients between individual cells.en
