Abstract

During the past four years we have studied, independently at Kabete and Muguga, rinderpest immunity and found that the most useful technique was the detection of neutralizing antibodies. We developed standard procedures which differed only in minor detail and which were based on the system by which Nakamura (1940) followed the development of antibodies in rabbits given lapinised rinderpest virus. The techniques and applications are herein recorded.
