Journal Brief a New Vector of Maize Streak Virus

Abstract

Tram mission Studies with Cicadulina triangula Ruppel established that this species is capable of transmitting maize streak virus. Both sexes transmitted the virus; 37 percent of the females became infective as compared with 20 percent of the males.
