A geographer’s retrospect and note on the Mpwapwa land-use experiments and achievements

Abstract

For years I have paid careful attention to the many progress reports on the Mpwapwa experiments by Messrs. H. E. Hornby and R. R. Stables which have formed so interesting a feature of the Tanganyika Territory Veterinary Department's Annual Reports; and I have visited Mpwapwa five time during the last nine years, the last occasion, in May, 1942, offering me an opportunity for gauging the achievements.
