| dc.description.abstract | Haricot bean CRlweolus vlllgaris L.) is grown under irrigation u a major cash crop in NorthSudan. Under field conditions. yields are usually low, ranging between 135O and 1450 kg/ha (Salih and Salih, 1985: FAO; 1986). Nitrogen fixation by haricot bean is generally low (Alexander,1971).
