dc.description.abstract	Climate change refers to a broad array of alterations in climatic and weather conditions. It is characterised by shifts in average conditions and in the frequency and severity of extreme conditions that have occurred over a long period of time, generally over a period of 30 to 35 years. The conditions that are altered include rainfall, temperature, winds, humidity, snow, and seasons. Simply put, climate change refers to changes in long-term weather patterns. It is evident that the Globe is warming and the mean surface temperatures have tremendously increased
