Abstract
A solar drier is a piece of equipment that uses the solar energy to dry products easily. It comprises of an air heating chamber (solar radiation collector) and the drying chamber (bin), which houses the product to be dried. The improved solar drier (Figure 1) was developed by KALRO-Mtwapa and ATDC-Mtwapa.
