Abstract
The reconnaissance soil surveys, in which Ke!l\Ya Soil Survey is engaged,
are carried out as systematic inventories of the soil and land characteristics to serve multi-purpose land use planning. A required intermediate step between soil surveys and land use planning is land evaluation.
