Reseeding Denuded Land in Baringo District, Kenya III-Techniques for Capped Red Loam Soils

Abstract

This paper reports a series of experiments which was commenced in 1959 to define suitable techniques of reseeding the hard-capped red loams of Baringo District. The necessity for such work had been shown by the preliminary reseeding trial which formed the subject of the first paper in this series (Pratt 1963).
