dc.description.abstractJanuary,February and March were months with rainfall well above normal.This helped livestock farmers greatly as pastures continued to be productive during this usually dry period.The rains did not however continous as expected.Anxious periods were experienced in April,June and July when rainfall was generally below normal.Newly planted pastures and seed production fields were slow to establish but the early planted herbage crops and maize were unaffected.The situation Improved in August,September and October but again November and December rainfall.en
