The identity of the bacteria concerned is not yet certain, but it is considered advisable to bring the disease to the notice of farmers, gardeners and other without delay. Material has been sent for identification to Dr. W. J_ Dowson at the Botany School, Cambridge. And he kindly undertaken investigation of the organisms’ present.
