Bot sides are currently regrouping their forces. An account will be given of a visit to some parts of the battlefield (East Africa, Zanzibar, Pemba, Madagascar, Mauritius, S. Rhodesia, Congo, Cameroon, Nigeria) and this will be illustrated by the transparencies. Among the factors to be considered are problems of infraspecific taxonomy behavior and general ecology. These will be discussed.englishhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/Royal Entomological Society of LondonJournal ContributionEntomologyInsectsEvolutionArthropods
