Maps of the Embu, Muguga, Kisii and Kitale mandate region agro-ecological zones and trial sites were prepared. Four technical officers (David Cheruiyot, Lucy Karani, Anne Masinde and Masibili) proceeded to Britain (Aberdeen University) on the 23rd of January to pursue a three-months course in forage production and livestock systems.
