Aizoaceae) on the miracidia of Fasciola gigantica and Schistosoma mansoni (Broberg, 1980) we would like to report further observations on the effects of this plant on snail hosts of veterinary and medically important trematodes in Kenya. Lymnaea natalensis is the principal snail host for F. gigantica in this country. Biomphalaria pJeifferi transmits S. mansoni, while S. haematobium is trammitted by Bulinus aJricanus and B. nasutus. Except for B. nasutus, these snail species are routinely cultured in this laboratory.enhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/Laboratory observations of the actions of Glinus lotoides (Fam Aizoacea) fruit on snail hosts of Fasciola and Schistosoma in KenyaJournal ContributionFruitSnailsFasciolaSchistosomahttps://doi.org/10.1080/00034983.1984.11811880
