In a single sample of this nature over a thousand specimens, comprising many species, may be obtained, and unless mechanical aids are utilized in studying the filter paper there is grave danger that many individuals will remain unnoticed. To ensure accuracy in this respect the writer has devised the following technique.enhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/A Method of Counting Large Samples of Small ArthropodsJournal ContributionSpeciesVegetationAnimalsSurface waterhttps://doi.org/10.2307/1044
