Kenya Soil Survey-IC 30

Abstract

The soil information used by the Kenya Soil Survey is an adaptation of the ISIS system developed at the International Soil Reference and information centre ISRIC) BY VAN WAVEREN (1987). It is a system developed for IBM compatible micro computers and can thus be run on the Olivetti computers currently in use at KSS. Although it has been thoroughly modified the basis is still the ISIS system and therefore it has retained the ISIS name. The text of this manual is therefore mainly based on an earlier ISRIC manual(van Waveren, 1986).
