Brachystegia spiciformis Benth. and Trachylobium verrucosum (Gaertn.) Olivo is limited to botanical description and generalities. The general reproductive development of A. xanthophloea was investigated in the Kibwezi Forest and-that of B. soiciformis and T. verrucosum in the Arabuko-Sokoke Forest in Kenya.
