It highlights declining soil fertility, nutrient mining, soil acidity, limited fertilizer blending for specific crops and locations, and inadequate research on organic inputs. The brief emphasizes the need for harmonized research agendas, increased funding, and mainstreaming Integrated Soil Fertility Management to improve agricultural productivity.
