Agro ecological Units and Fertilizer Extension Project Demonstrations

Abstract

The Agro-ecological Unit (AEU) is a relatively new concept that has been considered to be important in view of the need to associate climatic and soil factors in order to appreciate their influence on agricultural production in Kenya. This has been deemed necessary especially for extension of fertilizer recommendations envisaged to replace the blanket recommendations previously used in the country.
