Abstract
The current rates of subsistence allowance payable to officers travelling on duty outside Kenya and which Were announced in Personnel Circular No.7 of 24th June, 1987 have been reviewed following changes in hotel charges in various countries. As a result, it has been found necessary to increase the rates of the allowance. The revised per diem rates set out in the Annex to this Circular apply with effect from 1st July, 1989.
