Gender Analysis And Skills Development Workshop

Abstract

The Gender Awareness Workshop for NDFRC Katumani was held from 3th - 6th Decemher 1996 in the conference room of the Katumani centre. This was the 2nd in a series of workshops that have been organized hy the KARl Gender Task Force. The focus for these workshops is to create awareness to agricultural researchers on the importance of addressing gender issues in agricultural research and the specific role this plays in their technology interventions with farmers. For the workshops a numher of methods and tools were used such as lectures, group work, plenaries, quizzes, hand outs etc.
