Arid Lands Information Network-Eastern Africa Annual Report 2005

Abstract

Arid Lands Information Network-Eastern Africa (ALIN-EA) is a non-profit, non-political NGO, which promotes exchange of ideas and experiences among Community Development Workers (CDWs) in the arid and semi-arid lands (ASALS) of Eastern Africa. ALIN-EA is a membership organization with Principal Members based within the Eastern Africa region. The network has a membership of over 1000 CDWs working hand-in-hand with marginalized grassroots communities in Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Tanzania.
