Abstract
The request to carry out a site evaluation of Nchiru area in Tigania Division of Meru District was received from the organisers of the proposed Meru College of Technology, A general examination of the soils of the proposed site for the institute, which covers an area of about 253 hectares (624 acres), Has carried out in the field from 19th to 29th August, 1981.
