Abstract

The past season has been one of the busiest in the history of this branch of the service. In the endeavour not only to prevent the introduction of disease by imported stock but to control the diseases existent in the country, the services of the small staff has been severely taxed. The work performed during the year is clearly set forth in the accompanying report by the Chief Veterinary Officer.
