Abstract
Poultry waste (Without-bedding and feathers) collected every two days from a caged-layer unit was sun-dried in large flat metal pans during the hot months of November to December. The two-day routine collection was necessary to avoid loss of soluble nutrients particularly nitrogen and potassium (Blair, 1975).
